The boys from Tijuana Cartel have spent plenty of time with Mank Industries over a 12 month period mixing a few tracks, remixing stuff and enjoying a few bevvies.  An incredible band poised for massive success! You will hear these guys all over JJJ radio at the moment, They are on tour for Triple j right now so stay tuned! Well done Lads and what a pleasure!

The Mank is a 5 Piece crew that is creating a flavour that is a mix bag of big beats from the vinyl jungle and real song-craft…  A soulful mix of electronica, hip hop, funk, reggae and down-beat.  The Mank is our band and is how we get to unleash the passion we have for music when we are not making you sound shit hot!!

NZ’s prolific downbeat Head- Sola Rosa sourced a bunch of Dope Producers and world wide Beat nuts to Remix his album “Get It Together”. Mr Boinkin was lucky enough to get a crack at it………Aaaaand He CRACKED IT! Came up Juicy Az Bro. Much love to the sola rosa crew for hooking that up!!!! Oooh yeah we put it on wax too, FAT and pretty

Kudos came through with a mixing project for us. Specifically requiring fruity splatterings of psychedelia to compliment the vocal flavour and Mad beats By Trill Uno. Amazing Shit Guys and big congrats To Kudos for taking out the Sprung hip hop mc battle!!!!

Kleen Beats and Free Emcee came through with specific requirements…..A classic Boom Bap production resonant with early 90′s shit. What a pleasure to work with one of the tastiness wordsmiths on the mic and some Kleen beats( dont be fooled, Its not That Clean). Even some hints of wonky business, You know we love that at Mank Industries and Damn it came up Dope! Keep an eye out for these Brothers, “The Killer combination of Free n Kleen”!

Trill! The dude is a machine! Our favorite producer beatmaker Up here. No offense brothers and sisters( although i’m sure some of his tracks have OFFENDED) but i think we can all agree the kids got Mad skills, He’s a prolific and driven beatmaker and gets shit happening!

We First worked with Trill on his Album “The Last Rapper Alive“. Trilly welcomed additional production from mr boinkin and we had the project Mastered by Big Bass Bryan( The chronic). We really did “Get that sound” we were after!

Stay tuned for his 2012 release, you will see what we mean. And keep your eyes on trillytuesdays.com

Oh and big congrats to trilly for taking out the 360 remix competition. Look out major players, you dont want to slip on the fruit salad now!

Kazman From the Dubmarine Substation stopped by and jumped on our debut 12′ vinyl release “The love mixes”. The bro is wild, ok im gonna say it “The aboriginal Mike Patton” That is one of the most classic but truest things i have heard said about the man. A hearty dude and If you haven’t seen Dubmarine they will be coming to a festival near you……….look out!

Brett Orr came in with his Humongous album “Foundations” to mix. The soul brother had a massive pile of beautifully tracked songs and to put it simply they just needed some dirt and some crack!!! Check out this journey of an album! from gospel to breaks, downbeat to Gorgonzola! 5 years in the making and he’s hungry to bash this out over a few mad months ahead! go hard and may the mank be with you.

keep your eyes open, this cat pops up every where!

Miss Karleena has always been a good friend of the mank industries family, she drops in every now and then to grace the mic. When we say drops in we mean DROPS SHIT! Miss K is and always has been ahead of the game and if you have heard her spit you will never forget her. Recently she recorded for “the Mank” EP( f*^%n Dopeness) as our only feature and we’re expecting to see some massive things from her with the release of her own EP out early 2012! Props Girl we look forward to seeing you soon! Much love
